This is a poster I created for four artists (Aayushi, Andrew Barney, Astrolayb and Christine Zhou) who went on tour in June 2026.

In 2025 each artists spent spent a week in residence at Opera North developing an entirely new creative project. What emerged were four very different responses to identity, mythology, ancestry, language and belonging — spanning contemporary folk, electronic music, experimental composition, storytelling and immersive sound.

Together, these performances form an evening of deeply personal music-making that crosses cultures, genres and traditions; intimate, exploratory and rooted in connection.

I wanted to include elements of each artists’ journey in this design
